Our General Approach to ensure compliance with the PSDP duties.
Complete a Desktop and site review of the projects.
Liaise with appointed designers about their design and attend regular design meetings, with PSDP inputs.
Submit AF1 form on behalf of the client if required.
Review any existing safety file information on the proposed site / existing infrastructure; and ensure this is made available to the design team and contractor tendering the works.
Development of design risk register as the design phase develops.
Complete a Design safety review – normally arranged between 70 – 80% during the design phase.
Request and Review of Designer risk assessments.
Prepare a Preliminary Safety & Health Plan.
Attend constructability review with the appointed contractor / PSCS.
Evaluating and assessing design development and design changes during the construction stage.
Coordinate required temporary works with the PSCS for the project.
Co-ordinate with contractors who have a design portion / liability.
Collation of project safety file post construction,
Be available at all times to advise the design team, PSCS and client on H&S related matters.
